Who we are. Dirproof (dirproof.com) is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact: hello@dirproof.com.

What we collect

• Waitlist: your email address and, if you choose to answer, what you would pay for.
• Contact form or email: your email address and your message.
• Technical data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
• Launch Kit sign-in: when you enter an access key we set one cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It holds no personal data beyond a signed session marker. We store a fingerprint (hash) of test keys, never the keys themselves.
• Link check: when you use it, the listing address and domain you enter are sent to our server, which fetches that one page and returns the result. We do not save the addresses or results on our side; the result is saved only in your browser if you choose to.

Why we use it

To tell you when Dirproof launches and about early-access pricing (based on your consent when you join the waitlist), to decide what to build first from the optional survey answer, to answer your messages, and to run and protect the site (our legitimate interest). We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who processes it

Hosting and forms are handled by Cloudflare, Inc. (United States). Form entries are stored in Cloudflare's storage, and we do not store your IP address with them. Emails you send us are handled by our email provider. These providers process data on our behalf. Because they may store data outside your country, transfers rely on the providers' standard safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion, or until we close the waitlist. Contact messages are kept for up to 12 months after the conversation ends.

Your progress and tool profile

Status choices, dates, notes, your Launch Kit tool profile and the texts it generates are saved in your own browser's local storage. They are never sent to us. You can download a backup, or clear your progress with "Reset progress".

Cookies and analytics

The only cookie we use is the Launch Kit sign-in cookie described above, which is strictly necessary for the Kit to work. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

To count visits we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, does not use local storage and does not build profiles of visitors. It records which pages are viewed, the referring site, the browser and device type, the country and page load times, and shows them to us only as totals.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data, or to stop using it.

How to ask for deletion: email hello@dirproof.com or use the contact form with the email address you want removed. We will confirm and delete it within 30 days. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Children

Dirproof is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Important changes will be announced on the site.
